Melissa quickly consoled her, “There’s no way Leopold would be involved with a small–time internet influencer. It’s most likely business talk, don’t jump to conclusions.” 

Jelena chuckled, “What business could he possibly have with a minor internet star? Even if he wanted to sign a contract with an influencer, why would he need to handle it himself? I was thinking there might be some old flame or childhood sweetheart drama. Turns out, it’s all just fun and games.” She purposely spoke loudly enough for the surrounding bystanders to hear, and all people shared knowing glances and snickers. 

This was the biggest scandal of the year in the socialite circle, absolutely thrilling. 

Megan’s lips twitched violently. “I trust Leo one hundred percent. He loves me deeply. There’s no way he would get involved with some little internet star…” 

Before she could finish, Aurelia’s voice came from the side, “Before I returned to Elysium, Leopold was already with Katie. And she’s just one of many. I was absent for three years, how could he have remained faithful? He’s a normal man with needs.” She paused, raising her voice slightly, “I can understand this. I don’t demand that he break up with his past lovers. They were with him legitimately after I left, and they gave him their hearts. They’re not homewreckers. I can’t just return and demand they leave, can I? Why should we women make life difficult for each other? As long as they don’t aspire to take my place, I’m willing to coexist peacefully.” 

These words embarrassed Megan deeply. 

Megan couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Was the reason Leopold cared so much for Aurelia because she was magnanimous enough to tolerate his philandering? 

Melissa grabbed her hand and stood up from the couch, “Let’s go find Leopold at the hotel 

now.” 

Megan nodded and left with her. 

Elvis swirled his cocktail, taking a small sip. He didn’t believe Aurelia would truly allow Leopold to have multiple women, but her words were a powerful counterstrike, dealing a heavy blow to Megan. Quite clever! 

Jelena was extremely displeased with Leopold at this point. She couldn’t believe he could be so despicable, even worse than Fredric. She used to defend him, what a waste of her
