“Damn it, Elvis. How dare you poach right within my company?” he swore inwardly. 

“Did she throw away the flowers?” 

Kevin whispered, “No, she put them in a vase.” 

Leopold’s fists clenched, anger burning in his eyes. “Go tell the cleaner…” 

Down in the Design Department, Aurelia returned from the break room with a cup of coffee to find her flowers missing. 

“Where are my flowers?” 

“The cleaner took them away. I thought it was your order,” her assistant, Yuna, replied. 

Aurelia frowned slightly. “I didn’t give her any instructions. Please call her over.” 

Soon, the cleaner arrived. 

Aurelia asked, “It’s not cleaning time. Why did you take my flowers away?” 

The cleaner pointed upstairs. “It was Kevin’s order. He asked me to throw away the 

flowers.” 

Aurelia immediately realized who was behind this.

Leopold’s eyes flashed with anger. “I’ve warned you to keep your distance from Elvis.” 

She sneered, “And in what place do you warn me?” 

Leopold’s lips tightened. “I’m your boss. I have the right to forbid you from fraternizing with our competitor.” 

Aurelia turned solemn. “You can rest assured. I have my professional integrity. I won’t betray the company’s interests. My relationship with Mr. Cooper is personal, and it has nothing to do with business.” 

The last sentence stung Leopold. “What personal relationship do you have with him?”
