There was no way he was like Arnold, who had been drugged and manipulated, right?

No matter what his reasons were, even if he regretted it and wanted to come back, she didn’t want him anymore.

A terrifying aura swept across Leopold’s face, “Has he been questioned?” 

“Yes, he is from a mysterious foreign organization called AK Group, known for using biological weapons for assassinations. The group operates on a need–to–know basis, with no one knowing who the leader is.” Kevin said solemnly, “Megan’s previous disappearance was likely the work of this group.”

Leopold’s fingers tensed, the air around them filled with a murderous aura. He was curious to see who the mastermind really was.

He always remembered William’s warning about not giving the wicked stepmother a chance to bear a sibling. 

As evening approached, Megan did come. She wanted to move into Leopold’s mansion and live with him. 

Seeing Kane, a hint of malice flashed in her eyes. She purposely ignored him and said to Leopold, “Leopold, we’re married. Shouldn’t we live together? I don’t want to continue living apart.” 

Kane retorted coldly, “My dad would never live with you. It’s too dangerous. What if poison him?”
