Chapter 517
Leah pinched his chubby cheek, replying,You're just a kid, so you wouldn't understand."
She clenched her fists, a look of determination spreading across her face, "I've made up my mind. Starting today, I'm going on a diet. I'm going to lose weight until I got more beautiful."
William blinked, a glint of mischief shining in his eyes.
He scampered down the stairs, his little legs moving with determination. He pulled a box of strawberry milkshakes from the refrigerator and dashed back upstairs.
"This is the strawberry milkshake Uncle Avery bought yesterday. He knows it's your favorite. Are you still going to have some? If not, I'll just have it all myself."
Leah's eyes locked onto the milkshake in his hands. Even though it was still sealed, she could almost smell its enticing aroma, as if it was calling out to her, "Come and eat me. I'm so sweet and delicious."
She couldn't help but lick her lips, her hand instinctively reaching out to take it, but then she stopped herself.
No, starting today, she had to resist the temptation of delicious food. She couldn't let Avery be snatched away by that bitch.
She turned her head away, out of sight, out of mind, "I won't have it. You can have it alone"
William didn't believe she could resist, and he himself could never resist, even in winter he craved sweet ice cream.
"Then I'll have it." He opened the lid, scooped up a spoonful, and put it in his mouth, "It's really good. This brand makes the best strawberry milkshake."
Leah's mouth watered, and she swallowed hard several times, "William, can you go eat it in your room, please?
Don't eat it here. You're supposed to be helping me diet, remember?"
William blinked his big eyes at her, “You want me to supervise your diet?"
“Yep.” Leah nodded.
William was excited by the idea. He grinned, because this sounded like fun.
“Alright then, let the mission to slim down begin."
