Seeing the injured paparazzo, Leah felt a pang of quilt and quietly deleted the video she had posted before.

“Avery, it's all my fault. I didn't think there would be paparazzi sneaking around. Do you think they might die?"

Avery gently patted her head and said, “It's not your fault. They brought this on themselves. They knew there were the hornets around but didn't take any precautions. They could have at least worn beekeeper suits."

"These hornets are incredibly venomous, aren't they? They're like the killer bees from the movies.” Leah shivered at the thought. She was glad she hadn't been stung, and she didn't want her face to be ruined.

Avery called Aurelia to check on their situation and make sure they were okay before feeling relieved.

“Aurelia, don't you think it's weird that we ran into rattlesnakes during the day and the hornets at night?"

Aurelia agreed, becoming more convinced that it was an assassination attempt by the AK Group.

"Leopold, did you decide to come to Butterfly Valley on a whim or was it planned?"

"I decided last night after coming back” Leopold replied gravely.

“Then how did they know about our whereabouts?"

Aurelia looked puzzled. Last night, after Leopold had called her, she had brought Avery and Leah to discuss their vacation plans.

If it was a last-minute decision and the AK Group still knew about it, it would be too much of a coincidence.

Leopold stroked his chin thoughtfully, "It's late. You take the kids to bed. We'll talk about this tomorrow."

Aurelia nodded and took the children to the bedroom. They were all tired.
