Even during meetings, I barely managed to stay present–minded, checking my cell phone every minute for updates as Leo’s name flashed on my cell phone’s screen.
I picked his call in a split second, he spoke seriously.
“I have got some news about Jane, Miss Becker!
Every passing second sliced my heart into pieces as Leo paused for a moment, expecting my response. I gulped a lump in my throat with great difficulty and said,

Tons of loads lifted off my chest as I sighed in relief, the news of my little girl’s safety relieved my biggest worry.
