The Day His Demands Broke My Water novel Chapter 100

"Silas, I deserve to die! You can hit me, scold me, but please, don’t leave like this!"

"Aaron wants to be with Silas forever."

He was trembling, desperately clutching me.

I pushed him with all my strength, but instead, he hugged me tighter.

"Silas, I’ve already set up a new tombstone for Lucas, and I’ve taught Harper a lesson. Silas, everyone who hurt you has been punished."

"Silas, come back home with me, and no one will hurt you again."

I chuckled softly.

My eyes burned, and I said, "But Aaron, the person who hurt me the most has always been you."

When Harper hurt me, I only felt pain but no heartbreak because I didn’t care about her.

But Aaron’s hurt was like a blade cutting my heart, leaving deep scars.

His grip loosened, and he closed his eyes in pain. He slapped himself hard across the face. "Silas, I’m a jerk! Please forgive me for our more than twenty years together."

"Aaron, do you still remember my fear of heights?"

He froze, his eyes reddening. He cried uncontrollably.

"My father jumped off a building, and since then, I’ve had nightmares every night. But when you came, I would wake up from the nightmare, and you would comfort me."

I closed my eyes, pressing his hand to my chest, and shouted, "Aaron, who else would stab me in the heart like you? Who would?"

"Silas… don’t look at me like that."

"I’ve told myself for the past six months to let it go. It’s my fault, we’re even now, but why did you appear in front of me again?"

"Aaron, do you want to hurt me for the rest of my life?"

"I’m not…"

Suddenly, a punch interrupted him, leaving both of us stunned.

Archie was standing there, one arm around my shoulder, his eyebrow raised. "Bullying our princess on my turf?"

Aaron looked at us intimately, his breathing rapid, his back collapsing. "Silas, who is he?"

"My boyfriend."

Aaron didn’t believe it, his eyes red and fixed on me.

I leaned against Archie’s embrace. "Aaron, stop bothering me. I have a boyfriend now."

"It’s impossible… Impossible…" He growled.

Archie had already wrapped his arm around my waist and was leading me to the car.

I accidentally glanced back and saw a man, about 1.8 meters tall, kneeling on the ground, trembling as he cried.

Does it hurt?

Could it possibly compare to the pain I once felt, even a fraction of it?
