Corinne walked around Pamela to exit the restaurant.
"Corinne…" Pamela tried to stop her again, obviously worried about her.
"Let her go," said Jeremy emotionlessly.
Stunned, Pamela turned to look at Jeremy with a frown.
Corinne paused for a second before walking out of the restaurant without turning back.
Francine quickly chased after her. "Corinne! Wait!"
Corinne could not walk fast since she was eight months pregnant, so even though she did not stop, Francine managed to easily catch up to her.
Francine stood in front of her with her arms spread. "Corinne, how can you talk to Grandma like that?" she asked angrily. "Do you have any idea how worried she was about you?"
Corinne smiled. "Was she worried about me or the baby?"
Francine frowned. "Both, of course!"
Corinne chuckled softly. "Oh, please! Do you think I was just born yesterday? Why don't you go back to Miss Pamela?"
She then walked around Francine, wanting to leave as fast as possible.

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
