Corinne snapped out of her thoughts and nodded. "Thank you, Missus Addison."
Melinda smiled. "No need to thank me. It's only sandwiches. Let's head back. Emily should be waking up soon. Having breakfast together will surely improve her mood. Since she woke up from that nightmare, she's been talking about you a lot. It was late at night, and she didn't want to disturb your sleep by calling, so she held back."
Corinne smiled and sincerely said, "Thank you, Missus Addison. You really are an amazing friend to my mom. I can't imagine how tough it would've been for her all these years without your companionship and care."
Melinda approached Corinne with the sandwiches and gently patted her arm. "Companionship is a two-way street. You see me taking care of Emily now, but you might not know how Emily was there for me, encouraging and supporting me during my toughest times. It's just something friends do for each other."

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
