Melody walked over, raised the contract in her hand, and said, "Yes. I've already signed the contract, so I'll be going now. Have fun discussing your role in the movie with Mister Shaun."

After that, she turned and smiled at Shaun. "Thank you, Mister Shaun, for giving me the opportunity to star in 'War Song'. I'll do my best."

"What?" Stella was shocked once again, her carefully maintained expression crumbling. "You… You're the new actress Mister Shaun chose?"

Melody smiled and nodded. "Didn't I tell you that I came here looking for a job? Well, this is my job!"

Melody surprisingly felt a sense of satisfaction when she saw how upset Stella was. 'She always makes sarcastic remarks to me, so now it's her turn to have a taste of her own medicine!'

"Well, Mister Shaun, the contract is signed. I have other matters to attend to, so I'll take my leave now. I'll be in touch later."

Melody felt a vindictive pleasure. She raised the contract in her hand and swiftly left.

The three people left behind in the office each harbored their own thoughts. This included Stella, as well as Lucas, who had been present in the office and witnessed everything that transpired.
