Beatrice immediately turned back and hushed him. "Be quiet. I feel like something's off with Thalia. I want to see what she's up to."
Cedric stayed silent. 'This Thalia really has a knack for stirring up trouble.'
A series of events had unfolded ever since Thalia lived with them; she even caused issues between Lucas and Melody.
Cedric and Beatrice had planned to visit Melody the next morning. After all, Melody was staying alone with an injured leg in the set's dormitory. Despite having other actors or actresses around her, Cedric and Beatrice were still worried.
After Thalia made sure there was no movement coming from Beatrice's room, she turned off the main light in the hallway and cautiously ascended to the second floor.
She did not immediately push open the study door but instead listened in for a while. However, the study had been specially designed for Lucas's work, so the soundproofing was excellent. She stood quietly for a while but could not hear anything inside.
After about five minutes, Thalia could no longer contain her excitement. Holding her breath, she pushed open the study door and walked in. She found Lucas, who had been energetically working earlier, slumped over the desk.
Thalia approached Lucas slowly, growing more excited with each step.
"Lucas, are you asleep?" She called out tentatively, but Lucas, who was asleep on the desk, did not respond. "Lucas, if you're tired. You might catch a cold. Go to your room and sleep!"

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
