Lucas took Melody to prepare food. Since everyone was here, they could not just turn them away.
When the two of them were out of sight, Thalia pulled Quinn aside and asked, "What was that?"
"What do you mean? I didn't mean anything."
Thalia sneered contemptuously. "We've known each other for so many years. Do you still want to pretend in front of me? I saw in your eyes how you wanted to seduce him."
Thalia was not particularly quiet when she spoke. Although Lucas' house was big enough, there was no guarantee that the two of them would not hear these words in the kitchen.
It was rare, but Quinn's face turned red. "How can you say that? You can't say that to me just because you're my friend! Don't forget why you brought me here today."
Thalia's face darkened. "No duh, I do remember! But remember your place. You promised to keep your hands off my man."
With that, Thalia left the corner and walked into the kitchen.
Quinn rolled her eyes. How grateful of her.
She came to help Thalia with good intentions but was scolded instead.

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
