Melody hit the nail on the head with what mattered most to Wendy. Wendy felt it was unfair. Why would Lucas be attracted to Melody, who had nothing? What did he see in her? The atmosphere on Lucas' end was as cold as ice. He would never have left Melody alone in the hospital if he knew Wendy had not given up on taking revenge against Melody.
'This is all my fault!' he thought with regret. 'Why do I always regret things when it's too late?'
"Can we track where they went?" Lucas asked as he looked at the screen showing the license plate number they had found.
"It's a fake number plate. They disappeared after leaving the city," Edmund replied while leading several other technicians to frantically search for information.

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
