Melody felt a wave of nausea wash over her upon hearing his words. She dry heaved a few times, feeling like she was going to vomit but unable to.
"Wendy, must you resort to such low tactics to humiliate me? Do we really have to get to this point? You know very well that things will never be the same after today!" exclaimed Melody in a trembling voice.
She was still able to keep calm before Dougie came into the picture, but after that, her brain instantly turned into mush. She had no idea how to escape the perilous situation.
'Lucas, please come quickly. I can't hold on much longer,' thought Melody.

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
