It was the first time Thalia had bowed to Henry. Previously, no matter how stubborn or how much trouble she caused, she always came home with her head held high, refusing to apologize.
She always felt the only reason Henry forced her to apologize was because Claudia was present. She was sure that Henry would be reluctant to scold Claudia if she were the one who made a mistake, but just because it was her, he would not hesitate.

His words saddened both Claudia and Thalia. Claudia even rushed up and hugged him. "Dad, please don't say that. You haven't done anything wrong. In fact, you chose not to remarry so that you could take good care of us. Both of us know that and appreciate all of your hard work."

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
