Anya struggled stubbornly in Lucas’s arms, and tears started to well up
in her eyes.

Anya flailed about, hindering Lucas from moving forward. Nothing he said could persuade her, and there was nothing he could do about her situation.
Rosie looked at the situation, feeling worried about her best friend’s injury and the headache that her dream man Lucas had to face. Her continued refusal to admit her wrongdoings angered Rosie to the point of wanting to push her a second time.
However, Corinne succeeded in calmly avoiding her.
Rosie failed to place her hand on Corinne and almost fell face-flat to the ground!

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....
