Sunny lifted up his chin and said arrogantly, “Tsk! What’s there to be happy about? It’s not like I don’t. already have a sister of my own.”
Corinne simply chuckled at his response, turned around, and walked away.
Sunny frowned before chasing after her.
“Hey, where are you going?”
“I’m going to spend some time with Grandma Gertrude.”
Sunny lifted his head, puffed out his chest, and matched her stride for stride.
“Wait for me. I want to go with you.”
Corinne looked sideways at him. She did not stop him but simply let him be.
Meanwhile, after Rosie pushed Anya into the guest room, she immediately apologized, “I’m sorry, Anya. It’s all my fault. Things wouldn’t have ended this way if I didn’t suggest that Corinne should replace you on the stage to sing ‘Farewell, My Love”.”
Without an audience, Anya could not keep up her pretense anymore. Her face instantly darkened.

This book is getting boring now. I loved Jeremy, Corinne, Sonny and Lucas. The story needs to end. or bring back more of Jeremy, etc....
I haven't skipped any chapter at all. Though the story is good, it keeps going back to base one. I think this has no ending at all and somehow after reading more than 2500 chapters it's kinda tiring already. They have drained all the thrills....

my heart breaks for melody, so many ups and downs, i shed a few tears when lucas walked by melody carrying thalia, and melody stayed quiet while watching them leave. i find myself getting into character as if im one. i dont remember ever feeling like that in any other books. im thankful the 10 chapters/day. waiting for the next 10...
