Valda stood frozen in terror, her body trembling violently. A dark stain spread across her pants–she had lost control out of sheer fear. 

“H–How can you hit a woman? I … I’m calling the police!” 

Robin wiped the blood off his palm with a wet wipe, then slowly lifted his gaze. “A woman?” He scoffed. “You think someone as vile as you deserves to be called that?” 

“You… You’re too violent! How can you act like this in a civilized institution? I–I’m calling the police!” Valda stammered, desperately clutching her phone. 

Zolent? Civilized? Tell me when you spread vile rumors online, 

Robin shook his head, chuckling darkly. 

falsely accusing Joanna, what did you call that? When you turned this sacred place of learning into a den of deceit and cruelty, did you think that was civilized? You had no problem ruthlessly destroying someone else’s life–but now that it’s your turn to suffer, suddenly I’m the violent one? Someone as poisonous as you doesn’t deserve to exist in this world.” 

He tossed the wet wipe aside and stepped toward Valda. 

The entire plaza–and the thousands watching the live stream–held their breath, knowing exactly what was about to happen. 

“N–No! Stay away from me! Help! Ms. Field, call someone-!” 

Crack. 

With one swift motion, Robin crushed Valda’s throat. 

A bloodcurdling scream erupted from the crowd as Valda collapsed lifelessly to the ground. 

Hadden, Cadoc, and Yvonne recoiled in horror, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. 

It was only now, in the face of cold–blooded death, that they truly understood–Robin wasn’t bluffing. 

He was capable of killing them. 

All for what? 

They’d assumed it was just a smear campaign–some slander, rumors of Joanna’s supposed affairs. 

Destroying a powerless girl’s reputation seemed inconsequential. 

At worst, maybe they’d have to pay a small settlement fee if things escalated. 

How had it come to this? 

Even when Catherine and the others had arrived, Yvonne had still believed they were only trying to intimidate her. 

She had thought that once her father showed up, the worst–case scenario would be offering an apology and smoothing things over. 

But now, reality was sinking in.

The screen illuminated, revealing a damning list of crimes. Tristram and the other department heads paled as they read through the details. 

It wasn’t just general accusations–the records were horrifyingly detailed. 

Time–stamped meetings in seedy hotels. Graphic accounts of encounters with female students and assistants. Records of money siphoned from scholarships and aid programs. 

Every vile act was meticulously documented. 

They collapsed to the ground, all traces of defiance gone. 

Even they couldn’t find an excuse to justify the grotesque sins staring back at them. 

They weren’t the only ones in shock. The students watched the screen in disbelief, and felt their entire worldview shatter. 

Some professors and scholars, true academics who had dedicated their lives to knowledge, stood in silent agony. How had their beloved institution, a place meant to cultivate wisdom and virtue, been infested by such corruption? 

This was supposed to be a sanctuary for learning. A haven for noble minds. 

Yet, the righteous had been suppressed while parasites sat on the thrones of academia. 

How had things decayed so badly? 

Looking at the bright–eyed students on campus–the next generation, still pure and hopeful–many felt deep sorrow. 

How could these young minds thrive in a place so thoroughly tainted? 

Vroom! Vroom! 

The deafening roar of engines filled the air. 

The elite guards of the Seven Great Royal Houses arrived like a storm, their vehicles screeching to a halt in the plaza. 

At the same time, Brighton University’s senior leadership rushed to the scene–only to be blocked by the royal guards. 

Meanwhile, Hunter Baxter, having just finished reporting to military command, arrived with an official military directive and an internal affairs squad.

“Commander Baxter, I appreciate your effort,” he said calmly. “But I’m no longer a military officer. This is my family’s business. It has nothing to do with the army. Please stand down. I need no outside interference.” 

“Understood, sir!” 

A blue–clad guard stepped forward and saluted. “Mr. Ramsey, the video of Melissa and Michelle’s conversation has been uploaded to the live stream.”
