Nicole hesitated for a split second before looking at Logan and instructing, "Order a few more servings for everyone and send them to the crew. Everyone has a share!”
Everyone cheered happily.
They were actually able to eat dessert from a Michelin restaurant?
To the side, Julie let out a sigh. Nicole really was a fool with money.
Nicole did not see those actresses until they left the set. They were probably deliberately avoiding them.
However, it did not matter.
Since Julie had her own plans, she would leave the rest for Julie to handle.
Nicole returned to her apartment at night and felt slightly tired.
She took a bath and came out after changing her clothes.
She was just in time to hear the call from Clayton.
Nicole paused and picked up.
"According to the time difference, it should be 2:00 am
over there. Aren't you sleeping yet?"
Clayton chuckled in a low voice. His tone carried tiredness that could not be concealed.
"I just took time out. I'm afraid I won't be able to rest well if I don't hear your voice for one day."
Nicole’s face flushed. Clayton's bluntness was a little overwhelming.
She paused and sat on the sofa before speaking slowly.
"Mr. Sloan, you've changed. You're different from the Clayton Sloan I used to know!"
Clayton's voice was light and gentle. "Do you like it? I only act like this in front of the person I like. Can you get used to it?"
Through the phone, she could feel that Clayton's eyes must be looking into the distance gently.
He carried her in his heart.
That feeling of being tucked away in someone's heart was wonderful and indescribable.
Nicole calmed down and took a deep breath.
"I can."
What she wanted to say was, this Clayton Sloan seemed much more human-like than the Clayton Sloan she used to know.
