Nicole said it bluntly.
Since Nicole entered the door, she felt that Kirsi's sadness had exceeded her expectations.
Zach was not Kirsi's husband and was just her lover.
With Kirsi's standards, Nicole guessed that Kirsi probably did not love Zach deeply.
Thus, Nicole thought that Kirsi went a little overboard by acting sad.
Kirsi looked up at Nicole, took a deep breath, and calmed her breathing.
Kirsi seemed to be restraining her emotions.
After a long time, Kirsi said with gritted teeth, "I know you look down on me. You and Lumi are friends, and since Lumi married Ian, I've become a thorn in your side. That's why you’re targeting me, right?"
Nicole was a little puzzled by those words.
What was Kirsi talking about?
Kirsi sneered, threw away the tissue in her hand, and did not bother to continue pretending.
“That's right. I'm a homewrecker! I'm also a homewrecker who is about to succeed in becoming Zach's legal wife! I was so happy about Tina's death that I couldn’t sleep for several days! You have a good relationship with Tina, so do you hate me even more now? That contract was proof that you and Tina wanted to get revenge on me. You two wanted me to lose everything while still pregnant with Zach's child, right?"
Clayton's face turned glum from Kirsi's outburst.
However, now was not the time to get on Kirsi's bad side.
Usually, one would let down one's guard when one was emotional.
"Zach's property already belonged to me, but with that contract, I became a joke!
Fortunately, Tina died in time!"
Nicole looked at Kirsi's provoked face and frowned slightly.
"You don’t know?"
How could Kirsi not know?
Kirsi only thought about the contract, but the crux of the matter was not the contract.
Kirsi stood opposite them and stroked her belly weakly as if she had exhausted her strength.
"Ms. Stanton, you should know better than me how Tina and Zach died."
Kirsi paused and looked at Nicole with tears in her eyes.
"I won't tell anyone, but you'd better not look for me again in the future. I don't want to be involved in these things anymore. I'm too far along to abort the baby. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to give birth to this baby."
Nicole's heart sank. She subconsciously looked at Clayton.
Nicole had a feeling that Kirsi was implying something in her words.
Clayton patted the back of Nicole's h>d';
PJW:, looked at Kirsi, and said in a cold tone, "How can we trust you? You said you wouldn't tell anyone, but from what you said earlier, you clearly have a grudge against Nicole. Now, you have something over her, right?"
He was just going along with Kirsi's words.
Kirsi might not tell them anything if they asked directly.
Nicole pursed her lips tightly, and her body stiffened.
She could vaguely feel that Clayton had begun his game of chess.
He was trying to agitate Kirsi.
Kirsi looked at them with agitation and raised her hand in a swearing gesture.
"I swear. I’ll just take it as you never came here. When Zach jumped off the building, you were just leaving. I didn't say a word about it when the police asked me!"
Nicole was shocked. She looked at Kirsi dumbfoundedly.
Her heart felt like it was sinking into the deep sea, floating up and down, as if something was dragging her into a deeper and more terrifying place.
