Yasmin smiled shyly. She looked so gentle and pure that it was hard for others to see her in a bad light.
"Actually, I'm lucky to have found this job. Chance is very easy to get along with. I'll leave once I find my brother."
Nicole smiled. "Yes, Chance is very easy to get along with.”
They met a few times, and Chance gave Nicole a good impression.
Nicole watched Chatty from a distance. Although Nicole did not follow Chatty, she did not let down her guard for a moment.
Yasmin said a few words to Nicole and went to do other things.
After all, it would arouse suspicion if a nanny talked too much.
Nicole stood there for a while before her phone rang.
It was Clayton.
Clayton knew that Nicole went to Chance's party, but he did not get angry. At least, he could not blame Nicole for it.
"Let them play for a while and bring them home. Don’t stay for too long."
Nicole lowered her head, smiled, and replied, "I know. I'll send them over to my dad’s place soon."
Clayton said, "Thanks, darling. I'm just worried because my little lamb is in the tiger's mouth."
Nicole let out a low laugh. "Who’s a little lamb? Your daughter is a little bully here!"
The two hung up after a short conversation. Nicole laughed and looked into the distance. Suddenly, there was a crowd gathered in the area where the dolphins were performing.
Her heart sank in an instant. Nicole was about to run over when she saw Yasmin carrying Chatty while running out.
Nicole was shocked and immediately ran over.
"What's the matter?"
Nicole's tone was sharp as she held Chatty.
Chatty's body was completely soaked as the little girl cried in Nicole's arms. She hugged Nicole’s neck tightly.
Nicole suddenly panicked.
She patted Chatty's back and spoke softly," Baby, what happened? Tell Mommy!" Chatty could not say a word. She only sobbed as tears streamed down her face.
Nicole felt heartbroken to see her daughter like this.
Yasmin was also soaked as she stood there with a pale face.
"Ms. Sloan accidentally fell into the water just now. Fortunately, nothing happened...”
Mitchell hurried over when he heard the commotion.
"What's wrong?"
Yasmin retold what happened just now.
Chatty was running around the pool naughtily, wanting to play with the dolphins in the water.
Levi chased after her but could not catch up. That was when Chatty accidentally fell into the water.
Yasmin saw it in time ?e,=TLX? quickly rescued Chatty without hesitation.
Mitchell was shocked, worried, and afraid.
"What's going on? Isn't there a lifeguard on duty? How could you let a child run around the pool?"
Nicole glanced at them coldly and patted Chatty's back softly.
She knew that being involved with the Ferguson family meant bad luck. Look what happened!
Yasmin shook her head innocently, indicating that she did not know anything.
Mitchell looked at Nicole and pursed his lips, feeling sorry.
"Ms. Stanton, I'll get the doctor to come over. Don't worry. I’ll give you an explanation for this.”
Nicole glared at him. "You'd better do so, Mr. Crawford. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless.”
Mitchell was horrified.
Levi ran in worriedly like a child who had done something wrong. He looked at Nicole and Chatty nervously.
"Auntie, is Chatty okay?"
Nicole glanced at him. "Let's go to the doctor first. You're coming with me.
Levi did not dare to refuse, so he nodded and left.
Chance followed them with fear and complicated emotions in his clear eyes. He wanted to touch Chatty, but he seemed very guilty.
Just as Chance was about to touch Chatty's leg, he was suddenly shoved from behind.
Chance was pushed to the ground.
Fischer stood there angrily. His body was also wet.
Nicole frowned in shock. "Fischer, what's wrong with you?”
