Bella squinted at him and sipped her hot drink. “Listen to yourself, Justin. It sounds like you almost sympathize with that venomous snake.”

The man smiled wryly. “Not at all. I am just remarking on how ruthless Christopher truly is.”

“He has now eliminated the three Iverson siblings and achieved his dream of becoming the CEO. What will he do next? Honestly, just thinking about it makes me feel menopausal.” Bella sighed and rubbed her temples.

“Christopher’s ambitions are insatiable. Being CEO will not be enough for him. He wants to replace Lance and have the entire Iverson family grovel at his feet.”

Justin wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. His eyes were dark and inscrutable. “So, he will not stay quiet. He will make his move. As long as he does, he will expose his wolfish nature, and we will easily catch him.”

“Even so, I am still worried.” Bella leaned into his embrace.
