The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1681

“Are you also including Christopher when you mention the animalistic Iverson brothers?” Drew asked a soul-piercing question.

Yvonne’s long eyelashes fluttered gloomily. “Every hostess who provides service for the customers in Pivotage does so voluntarily.”

“You’re willingly following him too?” Drew’s cold eyes narrowed slightly as he withdrew his hand that was supporting her waist.

Yvonne felt her heart ache. Her throat was dry as she parted her lips. “Yes. I did it voluntarily.”

Drew tilted his head and sneered mockingly. His eyes, which reflected her face, dimmed.

No matter the reasons this woman had for helping him, whether she was stupid or had an ulterior motive, Drew reminded himself that she belonged to Christopher.

“Take this evidence back and hand it to Ms. Bella and Mr. Salvador.”

Yvonne’s gaze was intense. “This is James’ Achilles heel. They could definitely use these to sentence that bastard to eternal ruin, far better than you going up against him head-on.”

“Aren’t you afraid Christopher would find out that you helped me? Aren’t you afraid he’ll punish you? Even kill you?” After checking, Drew kept the file in his trench coat securely.

“I’m afraid.”

Yvonne’s gloom lifted, and a bright smile danced on her red lips. “But I want to repay your kindness.”

“Kindness?”

“That night, I had gastric ulcers. Thank you for leaving me the medicine the next day.”

However, Yvonne did not get to take the medicine because it was crushed to powder by Christopher.

Drew had long forgotten about this and only remembered it after her reminder. “Oh, it’s nothing.”

At this moment, Yvonne’s phone rang. It was her subordinate.
