The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1763

When James noticed Bella exchanging looks with Coral, he felt a punch in the gut and yelled furiously, “Bitch! How dare you team up with outsiders to set me up! I will make you pay!”

As Coral’s emotionless gaze shifted to the menacing man, she curled her lips, and a teardrop slipped past her eye.

Then came the shocker.

She took off her emerald gown without hesitation, revealing her bruised body for all to see.

“Coral…” Bella stared at Coral in shock. Coral’s determination shone through.

Though a white silk nightdress covered her modesty, the menacing scars all over her body sent chills down everybody’s spines.

“When have you not made me pay in the years I’ve been married to you, James?”

Coral scowled, her eyes filled with cutthroat bitterness. “You hit me for every little thing. You even want me to betray our matrimony to suck up to the Iverson Group’s partners. If I refused, you’d give me one hell of a beating. I only manage to survive this day, not because you show me mercy, but because it’s not my time to go yet. Otherwise, you’d have killed me a long time ago.”

Yet another bombshell of truth was dropped.

James was a monster.

The Iverson Group had just weathered a storm, thanks to Christopher’s efforts. However, a bigger and stronger scandal unexpectedly overtook the family.

The Iversons were now associated with evil. Even though they were one of the elite families, the family would never be able to recover from this.

The color drained from Christopher’s face, and his jawline tensed in rage.

Christopher finally turned the tables, only for his plan to be thrown out the window.

“Are you afraid of his threats?” Bella looked up, her eyes tender.

Justin shook his head and put his hand on the back of her neck. His lips clung to her forehead. “No, no one can hurt you on my watch. My only regret is that I put you in danger by letting you come forward. Next time, just make the plans and stay behind me.”

“No, he won’t.” Then came Coral’s raspy voice.

The couple lifted their heads and saw Coral in a dress that Roza had designed. She approached them in tears.

“Tonight was tough on you, Ms. Jones.” Bella teared up heart-wrenchingly at the thought that Coral ripped open her own scars just so James could get the punishment he deserved.

“I should be thanking you and Mr. Salvador. I would never take the step forward if it weren’t for you.”
