The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1765

It was a hard pill for Christopher to swallow. His tone was harsh like never before.

“You understand the effort I put in just for judgment day to come. Even if you wanted to avenge Asher, you could’ve waited until after tonight. Why did you want to expose everything during the party?”

Faced with Christopher’s accusations, Bella gave him no reaction.

“My mother suffered miserably due to a setup. I lay in wait for fifteen years just for the chance to seek justice for her and make James apologize on his knees.” Christopher’s dry lips quivered. “I was so close, Bella. Why couldn’t you give me the chance? Why?”

“I’m angry for your mother too, but I won’t put my revenge on hold because of you, Mr. Iverson.” Bella’s gaze was piercing. “Maybe you want to save James for last to protect the Iverson Group’s and your interests, but I can’t wait a second longer. I don’t want him to make it through tomorrow. Besides, weren’t you expecting us to finish James off for you? In that case, you don’t get to say when we do it.”

Christopher was shocked. “What are you saying, Bella? I don’t get it. When did I ever—”

“Figure it out yourself.”

Sick and tired of Christopher’s games, Bella turned around and got into the car.

“Bella…” Christopher was lost for words as a rug was pulled from under him.

“I’m hungry, Justin. We should dine out.” Sitting in the car, Bella leaned forward and looked at Justin’s back.

Her sweet voice did more damage to Christopher.

“Okay,” Justin responded affectionately.

Before getting into the car, Justin locked eyes with Christopher and smirked. “This isn’t really about your mother, is it? You’re just having trouble coming to terms with it all.”
