The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 1824

“Ralph.” Carrie raised her delicate little face.

“Carrie, thank you for being willing to help. I’ll wait for you at the police station tomorrow. Ask Bella and Justin to bring you over.” Ralph’s heart softened.

He had the urge to raise his hand and gently pat the girl’s head, but in the end, he still held back, his hands clenching while his veins bulged.

Carrie said softly, “No need. I can draw him.”

“What? You can draw him?” The three of them were shocked.

“That man left a deep impression on me. No matter how much time has passed, I won’t forget his face.”

Carrie took a deep breath and calmed herself. “I’m better at drawing portraits. I think that rather than describing his characteristics, it’d be more accurate if I drew him myself.”

……

To prevent Carrie from being disturbed, she went upstairs to draw alone so she could make full use of her skills, while the others waited patiently in the living room.

After hesitating for a moment, Ralph could not resist asking, “Bella, did Carrie break up with Ryan?”

“It’s Carrie’s decision.” Bella sighed softly, her beautiful eyes clouded with sorrow. “But I think Ryan won’t let her go. He loves Carrie too much.”

Ralph gripped the cup in his hand tightly, his voice bitter. “Carrie loves him deeply too.”

“With Ryan’s personality, it will inevitably be a heart-wrenching entanglement.” Justin’s heart was filled with worry.

Ryan, who lost Carrie, might descend into madness. He would not let go of everyone in the Hoffman family who hurt Carrie, nor would he forgive himself.
