The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 2012

Drew held Yvonne’s hand firmly, and the two sprinted through the gorgeous but dangerous hallway.

Assassins continuously rushed out to shoot at them. Drew shielded Yvonne in his arms, but it did not affect his speed of drawing the gun at all. With accurate and precise shots, he shot each assassin in the head, one by one.

At this moment, someone lunged at them from the left.

Before Drew could turn around, Yvonne’s eyes darkened.

Instantly, she accurately slit the attacker’s throat using the golden hairpin in her hand. Blood gushed out, splattering on her dress.

Drew glanced sideways at her, his heart uncontrollably pounding against his chest, and the adoration beneath his eyes was like crashing waves.

“Phew… That was close.” Yvonne wiped the sweat on her face with the back of her hand, but it merely smeared the blood all over her face, adding to her breathtaking charm.

Assassins were everywhere, scouring the villa like hyenas, searching for them.

Unable to escape for the moment, Yvonne found the garage filled with clutter. They hid inside and locked the door, using racks to barricade it.

“Drew, I can’t go with you.”

No matter how reluctant Yvonne was, she must make a decision. “I’ll stay here to distract them. It shouldn’t be hard for you to slip away with your abilities. If we keep moving together, it’ll only make Christopher’s men even more reckless! We will really die here!”

“Are you that unwilling to die with me?” Drew raised his brows, still holding her hand tightly and refusing to let go for a bit.

“I’m unwilling,” Yvonne said immediately and turned her blood-stained face away. “I still have many things to do. Even if I die, it cannot be today!”

Drew’s eyes reddened, his throat bobbing as he suddenly pressed her against the wall and lowered his head to kiss her.

Yvonne’s heart trembled, and she hurriedly covered his mouth with her hand in a panic.

The man’s gaze darkened, but the desire in his eyes did not diminish at all.

“No…” Yvonne’s eyes glistened with tears, her thin shoulders trembling slightly. “I’m filthy.”

She loved him so, so much.

Therefore, she wanted him to remain pure and noble. Even if he had a lover in the future, it should be a perfect woman, not a run-through flower like her.
