With Justin’s comfort and company, Bella quickly fell asleep in his arms.

It was bright outside by the time she woke up again. A gentle breeze caressed the sheer curtains as sunlight kissed her skin. The room was filled with last night’s tenderness and the sweet scent of Sentania’s flora.

It was a beautiful day, yet she could not enjoy the peace and quiet with Justin.

Bella sighed, feeling sad.

She got up and cleaned herself before going out to the balcony to relax her mind.

“What’s on your mind, girl?” Camilla made breakfast and brought it over to Bella with a smile.

“Camilla.” Bella looked at the delectable food on the table without any appetite. Still, she forced a smile. “Wow… It smells good. I can tell that you made this. You’re an amazing cook, just like Aunt Celeste. I’ve been missing out since you moved to Sentania. You make the best stew.”

“Once Justin, Ash, Drew, and Edward get back, I’ll cook for you. The staff in the kitchen will have the ingredients ready.” Camilla rubbed her palms together eagerly.

As the First Lady, Camilla had always presented herself as mature, graceful, and dependable in front of her people.

She would only show her animated side to her family.

“Edward is lucky to have a talented and devoted wife like you.”

Bella grabbed a sandwich and took a tiny bite out of it. “If I were a man, I would not let anyone else have you. I would marry you.”

“If you were a man and my brother, the family would be in chaos if you married me.”

The sisters enjoyed a good talk and laugh, but the sandwich in Bella’s hand remained.
