The Divorced Heiress Revenge (Bella Thompson) novel Chapter 2223

The two people who greeted Justin’s bloodshot eyes looked like a perfect pair of bride and groom.

It was his first time seeing Bella in a wedding dress. Justin had imagined it countless times in his dreams, but he never expected a scene like this.

She was breathtakingly beautiful, like a snow sculpture. Her pure white dress contrasted starkly with the man’s black suit.

Justin approached step by step, his heart twisting in agony with every inch closer. His injured shoulder bled profusely, leaving a trail behind him.

At that moment, Bella resembled a porcelain doll, meticulously dressed and displayed on a shelf for the admiration of the one who loved her most.

Justin could see her, but he could not touch her.

What should have been a blissful scene was filled with eeriness, cruelty, and a sinister undertone instead.

“Bella! I’m here!”

Justin shouted with all his might until his voice was hoarse, tears blurring his vision. “Bella, wake up! Wake up... Look at me!”

“Shhh—”

Christopher stood tall and imposing behind Bella, one hand resting on her bare shoulder. His other hand raised gracefully, pressing a finger on his pale lips. “Don’t be so loud. My wife is asleep. Justin, you had Bella for three whole years. Did you ever put a wedding dress on her? Did you give her a wedding? She was your wife, but was she ever truly a bride? These happy moments she wanted to have even in her dreams, things you couldn’t give her... I gave them all to her.”

Christopher leaned down, his finger gently caressing Bella’s delicate chin, gazing at her flawless face with deep affection. “That night, we were really happy. Perhaps Bella hasn’t fully given her heart to me yet, but I believe that with time and how well I treat her, she’ll eventually forget you and fall in love with me.”

Christopher’s words were like a dagger to Justin’s heart, twisting inside painfully.

He failed to give Bella a grand wedding, and he never made her a bride with a happy moment she could cherish for a lifetime.

Justin had even taken away her right to become a mother.

All that filled him now were regrets.

The one responsible for all these regrets, the one who caused them all, was Justin, the one who claimed to love Bella more than anyone.

Christopher continued looking at Bella, his emotions stirring even though she remained unresponsive.

The next second, he could not help but capture her lips, kissing her passionately, as if it were the end of the world.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Justin’s eyes were bloodshot, like a beast in pain, roaring as he fired his gun repeatedly at the glass conservatory.
