Chapter 114
Ezra felt a glimmer of hope when William suddenly appeared. He leapt off the sofa and rushed towards him.
“Daddy! You’re awake! Is your head still hurting?” Ezra hugged William’s thigh. His voice was so sweet that it made one’s heart soft.
William bent down to pick him up and walked toward the kitchen.
“I’m feeling better. Don’t worry, Luci. What are you doing?”
William looked at the burnt pancake and then shifted his gaze to Jameson, who was hiding in the corner and giggling. He instantly understood what had happened.
“Didn’t I tell you not to touch anything in the kitchen? You don’t have the talent.”
“Haha, William, that was an accident. One day, I will make a name for myself in the culinary industry!”
“Well, then you should practice cooking more, after all, it’s hard to get yourself a wife if you can’t cook.”
“Who said that? That’s unreasonable. Didn’t you say that you don’t know how to cook either? That’s the pot calling the kettle black. Enough!” Jameson retorted indignantly.
“Luci, are you hungry and want to eat pancakes?”
“Yes, Daddy, I’m so hungry…” Ezra nodded.
“Then Daddy will cook for you, okay?”
“Great!”
Ezra gave a round of applause.
“You want to make pancakes? William, I think it’s better to order takeout. Don’t starve your child just to show off in front of me… Jameson said in disbelief. He didn’t think the pampered William knew how to cook.
William ignored him and threw all the abandoned materials and pancakes into the trash can. Then, he took out a new pan and began to skillfully prepare the ingredients and cook. In less than ten minutes, the whole room was filled with a delicious aroma.
Jameson was so surprised that his eyes almost fell out.
What had he seen?
The decisive Hades of Melburgh made a delicious pancake.
No one would believe it!
The pancake smelled so good that Jameson wanted to have a taste!
So he went over happily.
Not only did the pancake smell amazing, but it looked great! No wonder Lucian dug right in without a word.
“William, when did you learn to cook? Why didn’t I know?” Jameson wondered.
As he chatted with William, he waited eagerly for the next pancake.
He would have Lucian give him a taste if he didn’t care about his reputation.
“I learned it when I was bored. Do you believe me now?”
“What?”
“It’s hard to get yourself a wife if you can’t cook.”
“Why are you talking like that you have got one!”
“Of course I do. In a sense, I have never divorced Olivia. She is still my wife,”
William put the freshly made pancakes on a plate and spoke proudly.
At this moment, Ezra, who was busy devouring the food, suddenly had some questions.
“What did Dad mean?
“Dad and Mom are still legally married?
“But Mom has never mentioned this before!
Chapter 114
“Wait, it seems not bad to have a Dad who’s both powerful and good at cooking.”
Ezra pretended he didn’t hear anything and kept eating.
He seemed to change his mind since Dad saved him and Mom. He didn’t know why.
Ezra always thought that Dad was not too bad. His dad was not only as handsome as him but also rich. And Dad could protect Mom in a pinch! If Mom was willing to be with Dad, he would accept it!
After all, his Dad looked like a heroic superhero when they were protected by him!
“Alright, alright. You win this one. I’m concerned that your wife may not see you as her husband!” For some reason, Jameson felt that William was showing off. He was depressed.
If it weren’t for the fact that the pancake was almost ready, he wouldn’t have been happy again!
But how could the pancake suddenly disappear?
By the time Jameson realized this, William had already entered the elevator with the pancakes.
“William, where are you going? Why are you leaving with the pancakes? You have to let me have a taste!” Jameson was on the verge of collapse.
“How could he do this to me?” thought Jameson.
“Thank you for reminding me. I’d better take breakfast to my wife right now, or she might not see me as her husband anymore,” William said in a serious tone.
Before Jameson could rush over, William directly closed the door.
Seeing the delicious pancake was gone, Jameson was frustrated.
He felt that he was out of favor!
Downstairs, in the consulting room.
Olivia rarely had a good night’s sleep, but this morning was different. As if in a dream, the smell of pancakes wafted through the air, rousing her from her slumber.
It wasn’t a dream.
As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw William with a plate in his hand.
“You’re awake. Come and eat something.”
William put the pancake and a gla** of hot chocolate milk on the table.
“Did you make this?” Seeing William was wearing an apron, Olivia asked.
She wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but she always felt that had become more gentle compared to five years ago.
It was something that she had never dared to dream of before.
“Yes, Luci said he was hungry, so I made breakfast for him and also for you,” William said as he pulled out a chair for her.
“Thank you.” Olivia rose and walked to the dining table. She took a look at the pancake and then went to the bathroom.
