Chapter 130
Chapter 130
William’s eyes widened in shock, his face darkening in a heartbeat. In a flash, he had Lone Wolf by the neck.
“What have you
done?”
Lone Wolf let out a boisterous laugh, relishing in the sight of William’s distress. “Getting anxious, are you?” he taunted.
A deadly chill emanated from William, his grip on Lone Wolf’s throat tightening.
“Speak clearly, or the next sound you hear will be your own neck snapping.”
Choking, Lone Wolf’s earlier smirk faded, his face turning a deep shade of red. “Alright… I’ll talk… Just let go!”
William tossed him aside like a rag doll, then placed a foot heavily on his chest.
“What did you do to my son?”
“Take a breather,” Lone Wolf coughed out, wiping the blood from his mouth. “Now that we both have our cards on the table, how about a reshuffle? As for my brother, he’s not at the bottom of a cliff yet, is he?”
Lone Wolf lay on the ground with blood flowing out of the corner of his mouth. He looked at William and asked with a smirk.
While he was down, Lone Wolf discreetly stabbed himself with a miniature blade from his pocket, trying to jolt his body awake.
William merely glared at him, the weight of his silence pressing down.
Turns out, Titus was just locked away.
Lone Wolf really knew him well enough.
“I knew you wouldn’t kill him,” Lone Wolf smirked. “You never kill evenly matched enemies.”
“You seem pretty sure of yourself. So, tell me, do you think I’ll kill you?”
“You might. But I doubt you’ll get the chance!” No sooner had he said it than he threw what looked like a small steel ball at William. The moment it hit the ground, thick smoke billowed everywhere.
It was a miniature smoke grenade.
Shielded by the dense smoke, Lone Wolf seized the opportunity and dashed for the exit.
By the time William gave chase, Lone Wolf had vanished into thin air.
“Get everyone on this. He couldn’t have gone far!” William ordered.
Olivia tried calling William. The name “Jerk” flashed on her screen, reminding her that this new phone still had her old SIM card.
The line just kept ringing with no answer.
“Marshall, I need you to get a message to William about my rescue. Don’t let Lone Wolf play him!” she said to Marshall,
while still on hold.
After all, Marshall was the personal a**istant of William. Maybe he had a way to contact William!
“Mrs. Kinsman, are you worried for Mr. Kinsman? He’d be over the moon to hear that.”
Olivia touched her forehead helplessly.
Was this the time for jokes?
How on earth did he become William’s a**istant?
Frustrated, she decided to send William a Skype message.
She typed on her phone with her slender white fingers and quickly sent a message.
But just like the phone call, received no reply.
A sinking feeling settled in her stomach.
Thinking quickly, she reached out to Gideon for help.
Before her message even was sent, Gideon was already calling her.
“I finally got through! Is everything okay, Miss Clarke?”

Chapter 130
“I had a run-in with Lone Wolf, but I’m okay now,” she replied.
“Lone Wolf? Listen, Miss Clarke,” Gideon’s voice grew urgent. “We’re on Mount Julford. Luci and Ezra have been kidnapped, and we tracked them here…
The usually composed Gideon now had a hint of anxiety in his tone.
He had never anticipated such a colossal blunder in his career.
Luci was essentially abducted right under his watch, and he didn’t even notice!
“What? Luci and Ezra have been taken? By whom? Any clues?”
Upon hearing Gideon’s words, Olivia felt her scalp tingle.
Her heart raced uncontrollably, sending her into a frenzy.
*Still unclear, but the perp seems like a pro. He navigated the mansion’s secret rooms as if he owned the place, by pa**ing all our security. By the time I sensed something was off, he was long gone with Luci. As for Ezra, he probably noticed Luci was taken and trailed them…”
Gideon sighed, a hint of helplessness in his voice.
Ezra was always gutsy and sharp, but tailing the kidnapper was a bold move.
However, it was thanks to tracking Ezra’s signal that they managed to trace them here.
So, Gideon was torn inside.
“That brat!” Olivia murmured, her hands, clutching her phone, shaking.
He’s just five! How could he?!
Ordinary kidnappers would be one thing, but these were Lone Wolf’s men. What if things went south?
“I’m heading to Mount Julford now. You all keep searching and stay connected. I suspect it’s Lone Wolf’s crew who took Luci and Ezra. Everyone, be on your toes! If needed, get Thirteen on it, and tell him not to pull any punches.”
Olivia thought, her heart burning with urgency, wishing she had wings to fly straight to Mount Julford to find Luci and Ezra.
But she knew she needed to keep her cool. With a composed voice, she instructed Gideon.
“Got it, Miss Clarke.”
After ending the call with Gideon, Olivia instinctively tried to activate her phone’s tracker to pinpoint Ezra’s location.
Only when she unlocked her phone did she remember it wasn’t her usual device.
Surprisingly, this one was modded too, and seemed even more sophisticated.
She quickly located Ezra’s signal. Spotting that blinking red dot on her phone map, Olivia felt a weight lift off her shoulders.
“Marshall, this phone is…”
“Our lab’s latest, the HX-5. It’s the pinnacle of the Kinsman family’s tech department’s work…”
“So that’s how it is. It’s indeed advanced. I didn’t expect the Kinsman family business to be so extensive now.”
Olivia was taken aback. She kept tabs on major tech enterprises but had never come across the Kinsman family’s industrial chains.
Seems like William played his cards close to his chest.
“The Kinsman family’s always been into research, but many products aren’t for public sale. Like this phone, designed just for Mr. Kinsman. Oh, and Mrs. Kinsman, the deep red of yours and William’s black, they’re a matching set!”
Marshall was openly shipping them, wearing the look of a die-hard fan.
“Ugh… Marshall, stop trying to pair us up. We’re never gonna happen!”
“Mrs. Kinsman, actually, Mr, Kinsman, he…”
Marshall tried to put in a good word for his young master, but before he could finish, Olivia interrupted him.
“Listen, you heard it too, right? Your young Mr. Kinsman’s been kidnapped. Let’s focus on driving. Head to Mount Julford as fast as you can, alright?”
“Of course, Mrs. Kinsman. Those guys have some nerve to kidnap young Mr. Kinsman. They’re asking for trouble. Even if

you hadn’t asked, I’m already stepping on the gas. We’ll be there in ten minutes!”
“Good”
Feeling the car speed up yet move so smoothly, Olivia realized that gossipy Marshall was someone good to have around. He definitely had some skills up his sleeve in crucial moments.
