The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William) novel Chapter 207

Chapter 207
Chapter 207
With a clack, Olivia felt that she fell a little. Though it was soon before the falling stopped, it still sent a chill down her spine.
Olivia breathed shallowly, supporting herself against the wall, afraid she would lose balance again. She carefully pulled on the rope.
However, as soon as she exerted a little force, she fell again.
Olivia lost her balance and hit hard against the solid wall, curling up in pain.
It seemed that the wooden door couldn’t support her anymore. Then, the only way was down.
Olivia steadied herself, decided, and started to analyze her surroundings.
It was quite spa cious in the vicinity, so she should be able to expand the aircraft on her. Then, she would only find a place to stand for a while before breaking into the basement.
Olivia’s eyes swept around as she was looking for landing space.
However, before she could choose carefully, the rope loosened and she dropped again.
A gasp escaped her lips as she felt the sudden weightlessness.
Fortunately, in the critical situation, she managed to fumble the aircraft’s switch on, stopping herself from falling all the way down.
As the aircraft carried her downward, she started to see what was underneath.
The previous lights came from the French windows connected to the basement.
The exquisite gla** reflected the light of the flashlight.
Olivia wasn’t sure about the properties or hardness of the gla**, so she decided to hover above it before finding a way to get
in.
Luckily, through the gla**, she could tell there wasn’t anyone in the hallway.
Though it was strange that there weren’t any guards, she had to do it because there was no turning back.
She first pressed the flashlight against the gla**. After making sure that there was only one layer of gla**, she took off the ring and tried to cut the gla** open.
The diamond on the ring was much harder than gla**, so as long as she exerted force, she could cut the gla** open.
Olivia made up her mind and began to scratch the gla** with the ring.
“Cr ack!” A crisp sound was heard, and a cr ack instantly appeared on the surface of the huge gla**.
It worked!
Triumphantly, Olivia scratched along the cr ack a few more times to deepen it.
Then, she drove herself up, aimed at the cra ck in the gla**, and slammed her body into it.
“Bang!” Olivia felt that her bones were about to be smashed.
However, the gla** in front of her still looked very sturdy.
Though annoyed, Olivia kept cutting a few more lines on the gla** with her ring. The cr acks joined at a point where the gla** would be the weakest.
This time, in order to make the force stronger, Olivia drove higher.
The impact of diving down was greater, and the force exerted on herself would be greater too.
To be on the safe side, Olivia pressed the button of her clothes to enable the armor to expand and tightly wrap around her vital org ans.
When everything was ready, Olivia dived at full speed.
However, as her shoulder was about to hit the gla**, she changed her posture and kicked hard with her feet.
The gla** wall shattered onto the ground, finally tumbling down.
Many shards directly fell into the deep pit below.
Meanwhile, Olivia made use of gravity and swung into the basement.

Chapter 207
She found it seem to be a house made of gla**.
The wall she broke was the in the back, and as she walked forward, she saw a door made of gla** too.
But the material seemed special because instead of being transparent, it could not be seen through.
It was suffocating in there.
Olivia came near the door, subconsciously turning on the thermal camera, only to find the machine fail to work.
She could only take a wild guess then.
She carefully pressed her ears on the door, held her breath, and listened.
Nevertheless, she heard nothing. Nothing, as if the entire world fell quiet.
Her heart was beating like a drum. Gradually, there was only one thought left on her mind-run.
It was absurdly quiet and suffocating there!
That being said, opening the door was the problem because she could only make out the door frame but not any handle.
Olivia peeped through the cra ck of the door and realized the lock was made of nanogold.
On the door, there were countless connecting points clutching onto the gla** wall like a web.
It was impossible to open it from the inside.
So, she was trapped?
Olivia couldn’t help feeling a little frustrated at the thought of that.
Did she spend so much effort to get here, just to be blocked by a da mn door?
Olivia observed the door.
Right, who said that they had to go through a door to walk out of a house?
Since she had just broken a wall in the back, she could certainly break another.
Therefore, she scratched the wall in front of her.
Without the help of the aircraft this time, she spent more time scraping out more cra cks. In the end, she retreated to the limit, gathered her strength, sprinted forward, and successfully broke through the gla**.
Olivia rolled on the ground and stood up, covered in shards. She found herself in a corridor.
She instinctively searched for the surveillance camera in the corner, only to find that it seemed to be broken.
It wasn’t on.
That surprised her.
But then again, did she fail to reach Gideon because of a network breakdown in the castle?
Not far away was the staircase leading to the underground. Olivia began to run downstairs as she thought about it.
She glanced upstairs and found that it was not what the CCTV footage showed.
The place where the woman was in the video was darker and damper. It was probably somewhere deeper in the castle.
Olivia walked down and soon arrived at basement level three.
As soon as she stepped onto the floor, a rusty and rotten smell a**aulted her nose; she almost vomited out of sickness.
But she couldn’t run away because it exactly resembled the place in the video.
Olivia glanced up at a camera. Like the one upstairs, it wasn’t working.
She breathed a sigh of relief and quickly looked for the woman according to a rough location she had seen in the video.
Soon, she saw the dying woman leaning against the wall in the iron cell.
The woman’s dirty hair was disheveled, and her face was wrapped in bandages. It was impossible to tell what she looked like, but her wrist was exposed, and she wore the bracelet Stars Align.
Yes, she was the woman Olivia spotted in the video!
“You’re here, Gianna” Olivia was a little excited.
