The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William) novel Chapter 58

Chapter 58
It’s so late. Why was Olivia lurking outside the Kinsman family’s villa?
She and Gianna…
As William thought about it, a scene suddenly appeared in his mind. He was so shocked that he broke out in a cold sweat.
“It’s her. She’s the one who killed Grandpa, not me. It’s Gianna!”
He heard Olivia’s hysterical voice in the heavy rain.
Was she accusing Gianna at that time?
But he felt that she was full of lies and very noisy, so he didn’t listen to a single word of hers.
At the thought of this, William panicked.
What if he was wrong back then?
What should he do?!
In Maple Villas.
After Olivia came back, she simply tidied up and went to the ward to see Lucian.
Today, when she was outside the Kinsman family’s villa watching the weird actions of Gianna in the surveillance video, she immediately thought of Luci.
Luci’s vocal cords were intact and she has heard him speak once. But the child never wanted to talk when he was awake.
The reason for this made her extremely angry.
If no one believed him, why bother?
This was probably what was on his mind!
How did he survive all these years?
At the thought of this, Olivia felt suffocated in her heart.
When Olivia entered the ward, Luci was awake.
After these days of recovery, some small abrasions on Luci’s body were almost healed, but the fracture required continuous rest, so he still needed to lie in bed most of the time.
Occasionally, he could sit up for a while, but not for too long.
When Olivia entered, she saw Luci looking around. When he saw her, his eyes lit up.
Although it was quickly covered up, she captured his emotions.
He must have missed her.
Yesterday her wrist injury was so severe that it was wrapped in thick gauze. She was worried that she would scare him, SO she didn’t come to see him.
Today, she felt that the wound had recovered a lot, and successfully persuaded Reed to install nano ligaments on her. Although her bones had not fully healed, as long as she acted carefully, others would not be able to see it.
There was a very serious side effect of the nano ligament, that is, although it could temporarily restore normal, the maintenance time was very short. It could only be used for five hours at a time, and the pain would double after it is removed.
Unless it was absolutely necessary, very few people would use it now.
This was also the reason why this technology was still within Reed’s laboratory and hadn’t been introduced to the market.
However, Olivia didn’t care. In order not to make the little boy worry, she could bear the pain.
“Luci, I’m here to see you. How are you feeling today? Did you miss me?”
Lucian was looking at her with gentle eyes, but when he heard her question, he turned his head silently.
Olivia approached him enthusiastically, sat down beside Lucian, and took out the candy from her pocket.
“This is the fudge I bought for you. If you think the medicine is bitter, you can eat one. It’s delicious…” As she spoke, she opened a small bag of candy, put it in her mouth, and ate it happily.

“Yes, Ezra didn’t lie to me. The candy is really delicious. Would you like to try one?”
Olivia imitated Ezra’s social swag and bragged to herself.
However, Lucian didn’t buy it at all.
He didn’t even look at her candy.
“Since you don’t like it, I’ll come to see you another day and bring you something else!” As Olivia spoke, she was about to get up and leave when she found a small hand grabbing the corner of her clothes forcefully.
Children were indeed gullible.
Her son cared about her!
Olivia felt extremely proud in her heart.
“Don’t you want me to leave?”
Lucian frowned and nodded.
After getting the answer, Olivia sat down by the bed again. Anyway, she didn’t want to leave at all.
“Okay, I won’t leave. I’ll stay here with you. Do you want some candy?”
Lucian ignored her again!
It seemed that the road to awakening the childlike innocence of a genius son was very long, and she had to work hard!
She would stop teasing him today!
Thinking of this, Olivia ate the candy and then took out the children’s watch that she had specially prepared for Luci.
This child’s watch, of course, was an improved version and did nothing less than a normal adult cell phone.
It was just more suitable for children to use and the side effects of radiation were minimal.
“Luci, look at this.”
Lucian turned his head helplessly. When he found that it was a mobile phone, he was a little moved.
“Don’t underestimate it. It’s an improved high-tech children’s mobile phone. Would you like to try it?”
Olivia waved her phone in front of Lucian.
Obviously, when Lucian heard about it being a high-tech improved version, his eyes instantly lit up.
Seeing his interest, Olivia put the phone in his uninjured hand, and adjusted the bed so that he sat up and leaned comfortably.
Lucian was clearly admiringly fondled of the children’s mobile phone that Olivia gave him, and tapped on it with his nimble fingers, as if to check the function.
Olivia sat by the side and watched quietly without disturbing him.
For a moment, she felt extremely at ease.
Olivia was lost in thought when she suddenly saw Luci tugging at her hand.
Then, she saw a QR code.
“Handsome boy, are you trying to add me on Skype?”
Lucian showed the whites of his eyes to Olivia.
Then he nimbly pointed at the QR code on the screen.
“Okay, since you’re so persistent, I’ll add you!”
Olivia took out her mobile phone, scanned the QR code, and added Lucian as a friend.
She opened the dialog box and sent an embrace emoji to Lucian.
She was happily waiting for Lucian’s reply when she saw that he just ignored her in front of her.
Her kids were the same. Who did they inherit it from?
A flash of lightning suddenly flashed outside the window, and thunder sounded like an explosion, as if it was about to shatter the entire ground.
Olivia saw that Lucian was trembling with his back to her.

She realized that Lucian was afraid of thunder, so she immediately grabbed his little hand.
Lucian turned around and looked at Olivia with a complicated expression in his eyes.
He seemed restless and suspicious.
“Don’t be afraid. I’ll be with you.”
Lucian nodded and then shook his head. He turned around and ignored her.
However, he held Olivia’s hand tightly and didn’t let her go.
Olivia couldn’t help but feel sorry for the little boy who was nervous and scared because of the thunder.
In the past, when he was in the Kinsman family, what did he do in this weather?
He would probably be frightened like this.
At that time, was there anyone with him?
How scared he would be if he was alone!
Perhaps she should have come back earlier.
As Olivia thought about it, she suddenly felt a little sad.
