Chapter 92
Chapter 92
She had been tricked by William before.
She had spent a lot of effort on the fake daughter of Patrick. This time, she had to be more careful.
“Yes, Miss Clarke. I’ll be on it right away.”
Gideon had always known Olivia best, so he understood what she meant immediately. At her command, he turned and left to check on the matter carefully.
For half a day, Olivia stayed in the basement to keep Lucian company.
She didn’t leave until the boy had fallen asleep.
“Liv, are you free? The cafe has released a new product. I want to try it. Let’s go together.”
As soon as Olivia came out of Luci’s ward, she received a text from Chelsea.
Olivia thought to herself, “How can she think only about food all day? Isn’t she afraid of getting fat?”
Olivia stared at her phone and teased Chelsea silently.
Then, she quickly typed on the keyboard with her fair and slender fingers and replied, “Okay.”
Half an hour later, in the pedestrian zone on Full Moon Road.
Olivia got out of the car and walked slowly to the cafe not far away.
Although it was almost midnight, there was still a lot of noise on the street. Olivia couldn’t help but relax when she found herself surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city. She didn’t even notice someone tailing behind her at all.
The cafe Chelsea picked was located deep in an alley.
The environment was nice. At this time, there were only a few customers. It was indeed a quiet getaway in the middle of the vibrant city.
It was so quiet that one couldn’t help but like it.
“I want a red velvet cake, a cappuccino with two servings of milk and sugar, and a lemonade.”
Olivia took the menu from the waiter and ordered after glancing briefly at it. Most of her order was what Chelsea liked.
William sat in the corner and listened in as she took her order.
Today, he had changed into casual wear. In order not to be discovered by Olivia, he had worn a pair of sungla**es.
He thought to himself, “I didn’t expect her to have such a good appetite!
“Fortunately, I am wealthy enough and can afford to feed her!”
After dealing with the company’s affairs, he went to Maple Villas to find the heartless Olivia, but he didn’t expect to see her driving out as soon as he arrived at the door.
For some reason, he followed her out.
“Miss, this is your lemonade, cake, and coffee.”
The waiter, who was wearing a mask and gloves, carried a tray and placed her order in front of Olivia one by one.
Olivia had her head down and was texting Chelsea to ask where she was. She didn’t notice the gloomy and vicious look in the waiter’s eyes
at all.
Nor did she see the dagger hidden under his tray.
“Watch out!”
While Olivia was busy texting Chelsea, she suddenly heard a cry of surprise.
Olivia raised her head suddenly and saw the waiter coming at her with a dagger in his hand.
And it was accurately aimed at her heart.
Olivia dodged, and the sharp blade brushed past her face.
A strand of her hair fell to the ground.
The killer disguised as a waiter chased after her, and the fight became more and more intense.
The killer was agile, and every move he made was deadly,

Chapter 92
His vicious and professional methods reminded Olivia of the killer who had appeared in the villa that night.
Was he Lone Wolf’s man?
Olivia gradually gained the lower hand and was finding it a little difficult to fend for herself.
“I’m here. Don’t be afraid!”
William threw his sungla**es away and ran over, protecting Olivia behind him.
“Why are you here?”
Olivia’s eyes were full of confusion as she looked at William, who had suddenly appeared.
“Now is not the time to argue about this.” William was so focused on dealing with the killer that he only answered in a low voice after a while.
Seeing this, Olivia did not say anything else. She turned around and stood back to back with William to fight against the killer together.
The pair cooperated well with each other, and their moves were well-coordinated. After a few rounds, they actually forced back the killer, who was so aggressive before.
The killer was losing ground, and his eyes became even darker as if he was preparing for something big.
Bang!
The killer turned suddenly and kicked William in the abdomen, where he was already injured.
“Hiss…”
The wound tore open in an instant, and William gasped in pain.
He pushed Olivia away from his back. “Go. I’ll hold him back!”
William gritted his teeth and shouted at Olivia. He only cared about her safety and was not thinking about his own safety at all.
“We’ll go together. I don’t like to owe people, especially not for my life!”
Olivia held onto William tightly and pulled him along as they ran.
“You go first, don’t worry about me! If only one of us can live! I hope it’s you!”
On the way, while covering his wound, William was losing strength. He pushed Olivia away again.
He roared for her to escape first.
He owed her his life before. It only seemed right for him to repay his debt now by saving her.
“I told you. I don’t like to owe others, especially you!”
Seeing how William had risked his life for her time and time again, the hatred in Olivia’s heart dissipated instantly, leaving her moved.
She clung to his hand until her knuckles turned white and refused to let go.
“I won’t leave if you don’t. At worst, we’ll die here together!”
Seeing that William’s face was getting paler and paler and that he was trying his best to break free from her grip, Olivia gritted her teeth and made to sit down.
“We’ll go together!”
William would let her risk her life for him. He had no choice but to compromise and continue to run.
Before they exhausted their last bit of strength, the pair finally hid in a deserted house in the depths of the alley. They locked the door heavily and snuggled up to each other in the corner.
“Are you all right?
“You can’t beat him. Why did you have to play hero?”
Looking at the black and wet bloodstains on William’s body, Olivia frowned and blamed him.
However, there was a hint of heartache in her eyes.
Although she hated him to the bone, she couldn’t help but be moved when she saw him risking his life for her.
“Nonsense. Anyone can die, except you!

Chapter 92
“You have to live well. Live a long life and have a lot of children and grandchildren!”
Perhaps because he had lost too much blood and was having a fever, he had the illusion that he was about to die.
He leaned against Olivia’s shoulder, half-awake, and his deep eyes were full of tenderness and guilt.
“William, don’t… don’t talk nonsense!
“I’ve already sent a message to Gideon. Someone will be here soon. We’ll be fine!
“Do you hear me? I told you, I don’t want to owe you anything!” Looking into the man’s gentle but weak eyes, Olivia panicked and said anxiously.
However, William was getting weaker and weaker. He could not even stay up enough to lean against her shoulder.
“I’m sorry, Olivia!
“It’s all my fault, my fault…”
William didn’t even have the strength to open his eyes, but he was still muttering.
“Don’t scare me, William!
“Aren’t you all strong and mighty? If you die like this, I’ll laugh at you for the rest of my life!”
Olivia patted William hard on the shoulder, trying her best to wake him up. Her voice was already full of tears.
“Miss Clarke!”
“Mr. Kinsman! Mr. Kinsman!”
Just as Olivia was crying in despair, Gideon finally arrived.
With Marshall behind him.
Looking at how pale William was and that he had gone unconscious, she was so anxious that her eyes reddened.
“His wound opened up! Quick, take him to Jameson!
“Hurry!”
Olivia turned and growled at Marshall, her h oa rse voice full of anxiety and worry.
Although she hated William, she had never wished him dead.
All she wanted was justice.
“Mr. Kinsman, hold on. I’ll take you to Doctor Smith immediately!”
At Olivia’s reminder, Marshall seemed to have woken up from a daze and took William, who had fallen into a full coma, straight to Goldentop International Villas.
