Just as she was about to greet Natalie, she was surprised to see Garrett affectionately holding Laney.

“Kailee, this is my wife, Laney. I’m here to pick her up. Honey, this is my old classmate, Kailee Gibson.” Garrett warmly introduced them to each other.

The smile on Kailee’s face immediately became crooked.

She looked at Laney up and down in disbelief, with jealousy and disdain burning in her eyes. Initially, she was only shocked that Garrett was married. Laney nodded. “This one’s okay. I just had a look around it with Natalie. It’s not bad at all.” Upon hearing this, Garrett felt a bit helpless. He hadn’t expected Laney to finally settle on the hospital that his father had picked, but he decided not to debate it with her since her mind was already made up.

He resolved to keep a close eye on things and not allow the Harding family to bother Laney. Witnessing the romantic bond bet**en Garrett and Laney made Kailee feel even more uncomfortable.
