The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 100

Ariel’s heart leaped to her throat too. Leon finally helped the company secure an opportunity to cooperate with the Wick Group, so it would be a real shame if the price became a stumbling block.

“Elder Wick, sir, if you’re not satisfied with the price, we can reduce it by a few percentage points. However, we can only drop five percentage points at most. That’s the most we will be able to compromise…” Ariel said with the utmost sincerity and brought out her trump card in good faith.

“No, you misunderstood me. I didn’t mean the price was high. I think it’s a bit low.” Bernard smiled and shook his head.

“It’s… low?” Ariel was stunned and could not believe what she heard.

She joined the workforce quite some time already, and in all the negotiations that she went through, the clients have always complained about the price being too high and would usually go all out to try and have it lowered.

It was the first time she met someone who said that the price was too low.

“Indeed. I propose that the Wick Group gives your company ten percent of the profits. What do you think of that?” Bernard suggested with a smile.

“Are you sure? That’s wonderful news! Please allow me to thank you on behalf of Miss Young, Elder Wick.

Leon was overjoyed. Although he had little clue when it came to prices, it could only be good news if Bernard was willing to give up some of the profit.

“This isn’t some joke, is it?”

Ariel was stunned and her expression was overcome with disbelief.

She was experienced when it came to the inner workings of negotiations, unlike Leon who only had layman’s knowledge. She knows that the Wick Group’s profit was only about 16 percent or 17 percent at most, yet Bernard was willing to give 10 percent of the profits to Elegante Group without any conditions attached. It was akin to dropping money right into one’s lap.

Ariel began to doubt her worldview a little.
