The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky novel Chapter 140

Read The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky Chapter 140 – Bowden watched from behind as Lily walked away with Leon, and he clenched his fists tightly with a resentful expression.

“You just have to be stubborn, don’t you? Since you’re so eager to get yourself in trouble, I guess I ought to make your wish come true!” Bowden had a grim look on his face as he took out his cell phone and started making some calls.

Lily and Leon walked side by side toward Lily’s house.

“Bowden’s always been petty and vengeful. I was told that a cousin of his is a very powerful figure. Now that he’s holding a grudge against you, you need to be extra careful whenever you run into him in the future,” Lily reminded worriedly.

Her family was longtime neighbors with Bowden’s family, and she knew a bit about Bowden’s family background because both sides used to have a good relationship with each other. In recent years, however, Bowden’s family finances became increasingly better. As a result, they rarely came back to their old home ever since they bought two new houses in the city area.

It was therefore a bit unexpected for Lily to meet Bowden so suddenly that day.

“Okay, I will,” Leon answered casually, although truthfully, he could not care less about it. He was not the person he used to be, and was also no longer the loser who got pushed around frequently by everyone else.

Bowden’s grudges toward him were nothing to be concerned about. After all, Bowden was a nobody who was not worth fussing over!

Lily knocked on the main door to her house, and it was her brother Jared who opened the door. Upon seeing Leon, Jared offered a warm greeting and invited Leon into the living room.

“You’re here, Mister Wolf! Please make yourself at home.” Serena heard some chatter at the door and came up to them with a smile on her face. Her condition was almost fully recovered after several days of recuperation, and the rosiness on her face made her look like the usual healthy person.

“Hello, Aunt Serena. It’s been a few days since I last saw you, and your complexion has improved a lot…” Leon smiled and greeted her.

“I do feel that my health is much better than before, and it’s all thanks to you! Thank you very much,” Serena said gratefully.

Lily and Jared were also very appreciative of Leon’s kindness.
