“Secret recipe? What are you talking about?” Gordon and Seth were both surprised to hear this.

“Joel, are you saying that Hiltons Corporation has successfully managed to create replicas of Elegante Group’s products?” Seth asked. He was well aware of Joel’s plans to steal Elegante Group’s secret recipe, and judging by Joel’s comment, he was inclined to think that Joel successfully pulled it off!

Gordon was thinking along the same lines.

“Um, not really! That Leon Wolf had his wits about it, and I’m now missing only the most crucial ingredient, “Joel replied rather sheepishly.

He bragged about his plan to Seth and Gordon multiple times, confident that he would be able to pull it off successfully, so now, he could not help feeling a little embarrassed that he failed.

“Oh,” Seth and Gordon could not help but be disappointed by this. however, considering that this was not the first time Joel lost to Leon, they could not say that they were surprised.

“Well, none of this matters! This is a war, not a battle, and we’ll see who’s laughing at the end! The point is, although I didn’t manage to get my hands on their full secret recipe, I’ve now come up with a perfect plan to take Leon down!” Joel changed the subject.

“What is it?” Seth and Gordon perked up at this, a glimmer of hope reigniting within their eyes.

They both had unpleasant encounters with Leon and thus longed for nothing more than to see Leon defeated!

This was especially true for Gordon; he already got Joel’s word that he would share some of the profits of his success, and he could not help feeling hopeful that Joel would be able to help him turn the situation around!
