The Ex-Husband’s Revenge By Dragonsky novel Chapter 1981

Chapter 1981

"Um,“ Devon did not know howto react to Oliver's interrogation. He knew full well that trespassing was among the most forbidden acts in the Gangster World!

Although the Dragon Corps rarely got involved in these conflicts, they have long-established some laws about gang wars and feuds to minimize the consequences as much as possible to maintain peace. However, the fact that the Hiltons trespassed into the Scammells' territory meant that they broke one of the most sacred laws known to them!

It was one thing if the Dragon Corps were not notified of this, but now that they came to know of the Hiltons' invasion, there was no way they could sit by idly and allow it to happen right underneath their noses!

"Sirs, please listen to me! Leon has also trespassed into the Golans' territory once before, and not only did he cripple my cousin, Seth, he even stripped Seth of his powers-a truly cruel and ruthless act! We Hiltons came over on behalf of the Golans to avenge Seth's fate-we didn't mean to overpower or bully him without reason at all!" Joel declared, stepping up to explain everything to Oliver and Abraham.

"Yes, Joel is right! We're just here to seek revenge for what Leon did. As long as the Scammells hand him over, make him apologize to Seth, and make the appropriate restitution, we Hiltons will retreat immediately and spare the Scammells! However, if they insist on protecting Leon and refuse to hand him over, I'm afraid we have to do things the hard way. I sincerely hope you can where we're coming from, sirs!" Devon added, regaining a little confidence in his stance now.

"Well," Oliver and Abraham both frowned when they heard this and exchanged dubious glances.

The Dragon Corps prided themselves on maintaining peace without utilizing violence. Thus, they always made it a priority to have evidence before prosecuting anyone, but now, it was clear that Leon was the one who provoked the Hiltons in the first place!

Not only did the Hiltons and Golans have a perfect reason for retaliating, but they also did not, in fact, cause much harm to the Scammells at all, nor were there any lives lost at this event.
