"Howard, I'm sorry. It's our fault. We didn't mean to. Please forgive us," Roman said apologetically.

"Forget it. Since it didn't escalate further, I won't press further. However, this will be the first and last time you do such things!" Howard scoffed, his expression easing.

"Of course. This won't happen again," Roman said in relief.

After reprimanding Roman, Howard took a deep breath to calm himself and turned to look at Leon. "Mister Wolf, right? I attacked without digging deeper into the truth and came close to killing you. This is my fault and I apologize. Please forgive me," Howard said guilty, and apologized sincerely.

Though he was misled by the Feaks, it was still wrong of him to attack Leon without any evidence. As a Dragon Guard, he failed his duty.

Thankfully, Fletcher knew Leon and stopped him in time to prevent a tragedy from taking place.

If he killed Leon, he would not be able to explain himself to his captain.

Naturally, he did not know he was worrying over nothing.

"Well, alright, then! Thank you for your understanding, Mister Wolf." Howard sighed a breath of relief at his words.

Thoughtfully, he walked over to Jaxon. "Mister Feaks, I need to ask you something. Who was the culprit who did this?"

Since Leon was not responsible, someone else must be. Not only did the culprit commit robbery, but they also took a few innocent lives and this crossed the line for the Dragon Corps.
