"Jayden, can't you be a little more composed and stop fussing?" Caleb shot Jayden a displeased look.
"Dad, I'm just telling the truth. Hugh is just a vice president. Who's he to keep us all waiting here for him?" Jayden paused and turned to the others. "Elder Daglesh, Elder Rathbournes, forgive me for being blunt. You're all influential figures. Even if the chairman, Leon, is here, he has no right to keep you all waiting. Hugh's just the vice president, yet you all let go of your pride to wait for him here. Don't you think it's a little foolish?" Jayden said frankly.
"Well," Elder Daglesh and Elder Rathbournes were instantly rendered speechless.
Though they were waiting here voluntarily and Hugh had no part in it, what Jayden said made sense.
Hugh was just the vice president of Cynthion Group and was not the chairman.
He was not qualified to have all these powerful figures waiting here for him.
They realized that this was far too flattering for someone of Hugh's status. After waiting for so long, Hugh was nowhere to be seen and they could not help wavering.
"Mister Morrison, what do you think we should do, then?" Elder Rathbournes asked.
