Milo was the first to snap out of it.

Glancing at the mighty-looking Leon, he turned to look at Diego and Enzo, who were injured.

An idea crossed his mind and he made a decision.

He darted forward in the next moment and appeared behind Leon. "Die, kid! " He sneered.

Catching Leon off-guard, he launched a powerful attack at Leon's back.

Though he did not know how Leon managed to defeat Diego, he knew that if the strongest amongst the three was defeated, he could not possibly rival Leon or accomplish the mission on his own.

That thought left him more determined.

Just as Leon was not looking, he attacked Leon from behind in the hope of disabling or injuring Leon.

That was far better than sitting on his thumbs.

Diego and Enzo perked up in excitement.

They both knew that Leon was formidable beyond their imagination.

Since they were both defeated and injured by Leon, it became an issue if they could escape Leon at all.

His first thought was to dodge the attack. However, realization dawned on him when he saw Diego and Enzo getting into positions for a triangle formation with Milo.

If he dodged, it did not matter which direction he moved toward because Diego and Enzo could easily attack him.
