After the call was connected, Leon had a brief conversation with Jensen. He already promised to visit the Dagleshs’ mansion and set the time for his visit at noon.
However, Renee was dragging him around throughout the morning and the time he spent with Hugo took quite a lot of time, so he was not able to head to the Dagleshs’ mansion.
Jensen waited for a long time and Leon was nowhere to be seen, so he decided to call and check on Leon. Leon merely agreed to visit because he preferred to work with the Dagleshs at the time and wanted to discuss with Elder Dagleshs in private.
The situation changed and since he already reached an agreement with the Morrisons, there was no reason for him to visit the Dagleshs’ mansion.
Still, the Dagleshs were quite sincere and Leon already made a promise, so it would be rude of him to change his mind and not visit them.
With that in mind, he decided to visit the Dagleshs and inform them about his agreement with the Morrisons.
At the very least, this would be better than him breaking his promise.
Once Leon hung up, Renee asked, “Leon, is that a call from Mister Daglesh?

She knew that Leon was invited to the Dagleshs’ mansion, so she could conclude that it was a call from Jensen. Thankfully, Hugo was able to reach an agreement with Leon before the Dagleshs and they were one step too late. Even if Leon headed to the Dagleshs’ mansion, it would not affect the Morrisons.
Both Renee and Hugo were relieved.
