“Leon, you got lucky today, with both the Morrisons and Dagleshs protecting you. I’ll let you off the hook for now!” He sneered, “But next time, luck won’t be on your side like this!” “Dorian, Cassius, let’s go!” Before leaving, Felton dropped a menacing remark, and then signaled to Dorian and Cassius to retreat together.
“That ordeal finally comes to an end,” Leon remarked. “Thankfully, it was all just a false alarm, much ado about nothing.”
Watching Felton and the others prepare to leave, both Caleb and Grandfather Elder Daglesh could not help but breathe a sigh of relief, feeling the weight lifted off their shoulders.
However, the next moment brought something incredibly surprising before their thoughts could settle.
“Leaving so soon?” Leon, who had been silent until then, snorted coldly.
Stepping forward swiftly, he immediately blocked Felton and Dorian’s path.
“What’s the meaning of this, Leon?” Felton’s expression darkened, his gaze towards Leon filled with displeasure.
“What do you think?” Leon retorted sharply. “Felton, this time you colluded with the Grimstons and Underwoods to disrupt our Cynthion Group’s sales conference! You think you can come and go as you please? Such a thing doesn’t exist in this world!”
Leon’s face was twisted in a cold smirk. He had not rushed to confront Felton earlier because he was waiting for the arrival of the Western and Southern Bosses.
