He could not possibly take on three people on his own and thus had no choice but to suppress his anger and choose to surrender.

“Please don’t do this, Mister Lowe! You have to help me! You can’t leave me here for dead…” Xander wailed. He knew full well that if Jacob left, Leon would be free to do whatever he wanted with him.

“Bear the consequences of your actions, scumbag!” Jacob scoffed and left without a second glance.
