“I don’t need your help! I won’t accept this marriage no matter what. You should all just give up!” Iris said despite the sorrow taking over her, before turning to leave.

“Iris, don’t you dare walk away from me!” Slightly embarrassed, Gilbert called out for her to stop, but Iris ignored him and left the room.

“Gilbert, this is your own family matter, so we won’t interfere. However, you should know that forming an alliance with the Lowes will only benefit us, so we hope that you will try your best to convince Iris into accepting this.”

“Also, we meant what we said. If you manage to resolve this crisis, we’ll all support you to be the leader.
