“Is that everything you know?” Philip asked.
Seth smiled and said, “What else do you want to know?”
“What else do you know?” Philip asked.
Seth thought for a while and said, “She didn’t leave behind anything much in this world. If you want to find her tracks, you need to go to the other shore.”
Philip said, “I will.”
Hearing that, Seth frowned and said, “Have you decided? When the stargate opens in a month, will you enter the land of the other shore?”
Philip shrugged and said with a smile, “Who’d be willing to leave their home? But I want to know who’s behind this and why my mother went to the other shore. Since no one is willing to tell me much, I can only find out for myself.”
Seth was briefly silent before he said, “Young Patriarch Clarke, I’m a pawn in the chess game too and can’t tell you much…”
“The land on the other shore isn’t an existence that people like us can figure out. If you really want to enter that place, I’d advise you to be careful in everything and not to reveal your origins from the ancestral land. Otherwise, it’ll only bring misfortune upon you.”
Philip got up and said, “Of course, I know this. Before I leave, I want to discuss a deal with you.”
Seth smiled and said eagerly, “What deal?”
“Help me keep an eye on the branch family. If you notice any strange movements, I hope you can do something for me,” Philip said seriously as he took out a golden token.
The Golden Seal!
There was a letter P on the front!
Seth looked at the golden token on the table and said with a smile, “Are you trying to pull me into your ranks?”
Philip said, “That’s up to you…”
