Suddenly Katy walks back into the living room and sits down beside me. "Hey, there's some people outside." She informs me with boredom as she shoves her hand in a chip bag.
Dad and I immediately look at each other. "How many people Katy?"
"Umm, I don't know... like a lot."
Dad and I immediately shot out of our seats, and panic rushed through my bones. My glare switched between Katy and my father multiple times as I thought of the possibilities... the possibility that those people outside, aren't here for directions to the nearest restaurant.
"Where's Alpha Parker?" Dad quickly ordered.
I stumbled over my words. "I don't k-know."
Where was my mate? What do we do? Should we go see what they want? Does Tyler already know what they're here for? Is it even them?
"I'll go check his office." I rushed out of the living room and turned towards the long hallway. I hurried in the direction of the big white doors, but Tyler came bursting through them. He ran up to me and gripped my shoulders. His eyes were becoming darker as I stared into them, suddenly Jackson followed after him out of the office.
"Anna stay in the house, do not go outside," Tyler begged as his hands still gripped me tightly. "Get Katy and go up to our room okay."
I swiftly nodded my head multiple times before going back to the living room with Tyler and Jackson.
"Anna, Katy get upstairs." I grabbed Katy's arm and dragged her up the steps and into the bedroom. I locked the door and rushed to the window to see if I could catch a glimpse of anything.
"Anna what's happening?!" Katy freaked.
"I don't know Tyler just told me to get upstairs and not to go outside." I didn't see much through the window, just the tree line that leads to the forest.
I turned back to Katy, who was now laying spread out on the bed. "What do you think it is?" I asked her.
She lifted up her head. "It could be anything." She answered simply.
I peered back out the window, but this time I saw groups of wolves charging from behind the trees. "Katy look!"
Before I knew it Katy was standing beside me and pulling back the velvety curtain. "This can't be good." She muttered.
"What do we do!"
"Stay up here and don't go outside."
"What! We have to help!" I protested.
