He turned and saw that several burly thugs had entered.

They were led by a blond guy, who pointed at the girl as she shuddered on the bed. "Hand her over, brat!"

Frank turned toward the girl named Irene, who quickly shook her head. "I-I don't know them! Please, you have to help me…"

She trailed off, clearly convinced that Frank did not stand a chance, what with his scrawny form.
