"Really!" Alda huffed, but there was no confidence in her voice at all.

"I believe you!" Frank smiled and nodded. "Don't worry—I threatened Sally that I'll make her suffer if she messes with you again!"

Alda was at once emotional but puzzled. "Mr. Frankton, why would you play along with her when you're so strong?"

"I told you—we're just partners." Frank shrugged. "It's not just her either—no one in this world gets to order me around!"

Alda nodded, clearly believing him.

"Who's there?!" Frank suddenly snapped.

He had heard footsteps and promptly leapt outside to find two familiar figures.

It was Bob Cut and Schoolgirl, whom he had cornered at that abandoned building earlier.

And with them was a pudgy youth in his twenties.

"You want some?" Frank growled, his presence murderous.

Though the ladies were not faltering, they were still more or less terrified, with the Schoolgirl quickly explaining, "No, it's a misunderstanding! We have nowhere to go, and we're afraid that people will come after us for revenge, so please take us in!"

Frank glanced at Bob Cut, who looked the other way in silence.

He then chuckled. "You'll have to pay a price if you want me to take you in."

"Of course!" Schoolgirl agreed to it without hesitation.

She had always admired the strong, and seeing that Frank was special and good-looking, she was head over heels for him.

On the other hand, Bob Cut was the polar opposite. She was reserved to the last and refused to speak even now.
